The Rev. Liana Rowe, ordained clergy serving the United Church of Christ with Shadow Rock UCC in Phoenix, is a long-time activist and humanitarian on immigrant rights issues. Rowe has spent several years organizing for a humane and rational border environment through her efforts with Humane Borders, No More Deaths, and the New Sanctuary Movement. Most notably, Rowe led the team that derived the "Faith Based Principals for Immigration Reform" for No More Deaths in 2004. Rowe currently coordinates over 100 volunteers in the Phoenix area for Humane Borders' humanitarian efforts to maintain water stations in the desert in addition to her duties as a community organizer for Interfaith Worker Justice of Arizona's Worker Rights Center. A resident of North Phoenix for 25 years, Rev. Rowe shares her passion for justice with her husband Bryan of 27 years and three children.

Rev. Kate Lehman is pastor of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Community, a mission parish in the Ecumenical Catholic Communion. Before seeking incardination to the ECC and starting St. Teresa’s this past spring, she served as associate pastor in two independent Catholic churches. Lehman is passionate about issues of equality, diversity and interfaith understanding and cooperation. Many priests in the ECC serve without pay, so Kate’s day job is as executive director of Academic Services in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Arizona State University, where she is also a faculty associate in the School of Politics and Global Studies. She is currently serving a six-year term as senator for the western district of the Phi Beta Kappa Society. Lehman was ordained by the United Catholic Church on June 24, 2007. She is married to Ted Parker; and they had five children and now have four grandchildren.

John Dorhauer has served in ministry for 23 years: 16 as a local church pastor and eight as in Conference Ministry. Dorhauer currently serves as Southwest Conference United Church of Christ Minister. Dorhauer earned a B.A. degree in philosophy from Cardinal Glennon College, his M. Div. from Eden Theological Seminary (class of '88) and a D. Min. from United Theological Seminary, having studied White Privilege and its effects on the church. He is the author of the book Steeplejacking: How the Christian Right is Hijacking Mainstream Religion. He and his wife Mimi have three children: John, Adam, and Molly. Dorhauer loves baseball (a die-hard Cardinal fan), long bike rides, golf, hiking, kayaking, poetry and good art and literature.

Pastor Ken Heintzelman began serving the Shadow Rock Community as senior minister in July 2008. He earned a B.S. degree in philosophy from Murray State University and a master’s degree in divinity from Vanderbilt Divinity School.  Heintzelman’s journey has allowed him many different work experiences that include hospital chaplaincy, social work, management of non-profit organizations, casework with persons with mental illness and persons with the challenges of poverty and homelessness. He has served three churches since 1988 and is grateful for his career path, the skills he has learned, and the people he has met along the way. Heintzelman and his wife Peg have three adult children, Joshua (who recently married Lauren), Amelia and Daniel.
